Vem Pra Água · Santa Catarina, Brazil
How to rent a boat without leaving important questions for later.
Use this checklist to prepare a clear quote request, compare the options that make sense, and book with more confidence.
The best quote starts with a specific request. You don't need to master nautical terms — just give the team the right context so they can tell you what needs to be confirmed.
1. Start with the date and the group
Tell us the day, the approximate number of participants, and whether there will be children, people with reduced mobility, or any need worth attention. A boat's published capacity should always be confirmed with the team, since it's an operational and safety figure.
2. Choose the region or the route you want
Florianópolis is the main focus, but Vem Pra Água also serves Balneário Camboriú and Caixa d’Aço. If you don't have a fixed route yet, describe what you're after: calmer waters, a family trip, a get-together with friends, a birthday, or a day exploring the coast.
3. Ask the questions that prevent surprises
- Which boat is available for the date and group size?
- What is the boarding and disembarking point?
- What is the estimated duration and which route is recommended?
- What's included and what's optional?
- Is there a skipper? What are the requirements to drive?
- How do payment, rescheduling and cancellation work?
- What happens if navigation conditions aren't recommended?
4. Put the terms in writing before booking
Before making any payment, get what was agreed in writing. This includes the boat's details, date, duration, price, payment method, agreed-upon items, boarding point, and change or cancellation rules. Commercial transparency is part of a good experience.
